is to be engaged in something else,
to be attached to something other than your Self.
Any beauty other than Self
is a dead corpse in a nice dress;
and attachment to these things
is living in a grave with dead bodies.
When you live in the association of mind
you are in the graveyard,
but when you do inquiry you are Free.
Doubting this Freedom is clinging to bondage.
We cling to our own attachments,
but we can fly away and Satsang is the open door.
It is your choice: old patterns are your own cage.
Befriend something permanent and unchanging
and you will be happy; this is Wisdom, the Guru.
Give up your old patterns of life
which are kusanga, bad associations.
